Neural Cloud Tier List Wiki 2022

This tier list is for CBT only, considering the context of it lasting 1 week; full-release tiers may change!

S tier: Always raise if possible. Does their job well and often provides extra.
A tier: Nice to raise if you have them. May be situationally very strong in certain conditions.
B tier: Not very strong to start with, but can do their job okay if leveled.
C tier: Takes a lot of investment to be viable. Not recommended to raise early on.
SP: SPecial, meaning the character is situationally best-in-class. Placement will be relative to average performance (so an SP character higher up in the list will be more useful on average than an SP character lower down)”

Neural Cloud Medic Tier List

Nanaka

Early Game – S Tier

Excellent AoE healing only surpassed by Gin

– Unique powerful stat buff for allies
– Procs function cards often
– Starts at 3★ with a strong ultimate
– Is an idol”

End Game – S+ Tier

– Ultimate can prevent one-shots
– Excellent scaling through all event content
– When using 2 medics, you lose less DPS with Nanaka”

Florence

Early game – SP Tier

– Provides massive damage reduction to heal target
– Doesn’t actually need to have rarity raised to be useful
– Charm is hit-or-miss but doesn’t hurt
– Decent
– Starts at 3★ with a strong DPS-oriented ultimate

End game – SP Tier

– Damage reduction very useful for hard content
– Good ulti for buff stacking 1 carry

Persica

Early game – S Tier

– 5★ materials are given to you for free
– Very simple but uniquely powerful kit
– Revive can be almost irreplaceable for some content”

End game – S Tier

“- Excellent candidate for the CDR reset flower tiles
– Remains relevant throughout the entire game
– Easy target for feeding batteries to in battle for heals
– Can scale to the point where she full heals anyone 0-100”

Gin

Early game – B+ Tier

“- Highest HP/s of all medics in the game
– Procs function cards often
– Starts at 3★ with a decent healing ultimate

End Game – A Tier

– Is fairly terrible to use by himself
– Not great early”

Jessie

Early game – B Tier

“- Provides unique debuff prevention & removal
– Definitely can’t solo heal in harder content

– Starts at 1★ and takes a while to get her running”

End Game – SP Tier

“- She can hard carry you through certain specific content
– Pairs very well with [REDACTED]”

Imhotep

Early game – B Tier

– Surprisingly good synergy with DPS medic Functions
– AoE healer who works well in a 2-medic team
– Funny ultimate for people who like playing chess

– Not the easiest to use effectively

End Game – B+ Tier

“- Doesn’t turboscale like higher-tier medics

– Nanaka exists”

Choco

Early game – C Tier

“- Makes chocolate
– Very cute
– Saves you in chapter 3 story
– Wait, you needed gameplay explanations? Uhh…”

End Game – C Tier

– Yeah… let’s not talk about that

Panakeia

Early game – C Tier

“- An upcoming event gives you frags to raise her to 4★
– Actually a GFL character and not OC
– Seriously why are so many chars not dolls from GFL?!

– RNG healing
– Low heal amount”

End Game – C Tier

– Healing is inconsistent
– Scales poorly with CDR

Neural Cloud Fighter Tier List

Aki

Early game – S Tier

“- Crit god with insane burst damage
– Does exactly what you need fighters to do
– Starts at 3★ with an extremely satisfying ultimate
– Prints friendship points like no other”

End Game – S Tier

– Scales very well with investment, but gets powercrept
– Good choice to level in the current CBT, but on game release you might want to just use a friend Aki instead and use your resources on other characters

Vee

Early game – SP Tier

– The only ranged Fighter in the game
– Ignores enemy evasion/stealth
– Surprisingly versatile due to above trait
– Starts at 3★ with a strong ultimate

– Can’t crit

End Game – SP Tier

– Scales a bit poorly due to not being pure ATK
– Technically can crit if you get a specific Function set, which massively boosts her DPS

Betty

Early game – A+ Tier

– Insane damage scaling thanks to her passive
– Skill gives her superarmor (immune to CC)
– Good synergy with Fighter functions
– You won’t need to dismantle her in this game

– Extremely annoying victory voiceline

End Game – S Tier

– Useful kit that scales well into endgame
– Doesn’t compete with other Fighters for algorithms, and thus can be raised with less of an opportunity cost

Chelsea

Early game – A Tier

– Takes some savescumming to make her passive work
– Ditto for her active; she’s very position-dependent
– Basically, a really good character if you enjoy the autochess/board planning part of Neural Cloud

– Starts at 1★ and takes a while to get her running

End Game – S Tier

– Requires braincells to use, unlike Aki who just always does damage no matter what
– Not all fields/boards are compatible with her skillset
– Bad single target damage

Fern

Early game – SP Tier

– Unique crowd control/displacement feature
– Basically removes the enemy frontline instantly

– Does like no damage lmao
– Her summon is really slow, low DPS, and eats your Medic’s precious healing during fights

End Game – S Tier

– Extremely stage- and enemy-dependent

– Raising rarity doesn’t help much
– Dragon unaffected by functions
– Useless in fights where her dragon gets one-tapped
– Meh ultimate compared to many other characters

Sol

Early game – B Tier

– Actually pretty good early because you get free frags
– Can offtank a little bit thanks to her passive
– Team synergy with Fresnel, whom you might be using
– Best girl if you don’t skip story

End Game – Rip Tier

– Poor endgame scaling
– Ideally you want a Guardian to tank instead of Sol
– Never got buffed in CN… Please… I’ll do anything…

Centaureissi

Early game – B Tier

– Unique CC/knockback can be used to great effect
– Starts at 3★ with a fairly usable single-target ultimate

– Ultimate is a skillshot that can get blocked

End game – B Tier

– Doesn’t compete with other Fighters for algorithms, and thus can be raised with less of an opportunity cost.

Neural Cloud Sniper Tier List (EN CBT)

Hubble

Early game – S Tier

– Will carry you through story (especially this CBT)
– Excellent well-rounded AoE sniper
– Good damage scaling and top-of-the-line base stats
– Starts at 3★ with a very useful CC ultimate
– Can be played in a large number of various team comps that reinforce her strengths differently

End game – S Tier

– Hybrid scaling keeps her from reaching #1 spot

Max

Early game – A+ Tier

– True damage and insane attack speed
– Scales well with Calculation Power

– Long skill cast time and slow travel speed
– Starts at 1★ and takes a while to get her running

End game – S Tier

– To really get the most out of her skill, you have to position her in the frontlines

Abuse enemy targeting priority to keep Max safe!!!
– They target closest unit first, then Guardian > Fighter > Specialist > Sniper > Medic

Fresnel

Early game – A+ Tier

– Free starter char that scales well into the endgame
– Can deaggro herself when attacked
– Mechanically strong skill & satisfying basic attack

– Ultimate feels a bit weak in terms of damage

End game – A Tier

– Terrain in later stages is not always conducive to her line-shaped AoE skill
– Falls off a bit later on due to hybrid scaling

Lam

Early game – A- Tier

– Unique Attack Speed -> Crit conversion passive
– Fixed rate of fire
– Skill can inherently crit
– Targets highest HP enemy with her skill

End game – SS Tier

– You will want to pair her with an AoE sniper
– Requires specialized set of Algorithms to shine
– Once you max her out, her DPS is unmatched
– Her skill can one-tap tanks and her ulti can clear the entire stage in one hit

Twigs

Early game – A+ Tier

– Highest (theoretical) AoE damage in the game
– Single target is somewhat average (not great for bossing)

– Difficult to use, just like Chelsea

End game – S Tier

– Recommend pairing with a single-target sniper like Simo or Lam (although EN CBT probably won’t last long enough for them to scale into lategame)

Simo

Early game – A+ Tier

– High DPS sniper you get for free
– Ultimate stealth can save you in sticky situations
– Skill can inherently crit
– Very unique kit that can be surprisingly useful

– Starts at 1★ and takes a while to get him running

End game – S Tier

– You will want to pair him with an AoE sniper
– Is never really the best at anything, but works fine

Earhart

Early game – A- Tier

– She gets on her airplane and essentially gains a DMG steroid for the duration of her skill
– Has superarmor, skill can inherently crit

– Extremely dependent on critting to work (not great early)

End game – S Tier

– Really needs those rarity increases for algorithm space
– Requires a lot of babying to reach max potential (CBT may not last long enough to get there)

Octogen

Early game – B Tier

– You may need someone else to knock enemies onto Octogen’s bombs *cough*
– Incredibly high damage ultimate

– Ult kills himself

Neural Cloud Guardian Tier List (EN CBT)

Croque

Early game – S Tier

– Given at 3★ for free
– Built-in reusable taunt
– Good sustain with shield and self heal
– You pretty much don’t need to level any other tank

End game – S Tier

– Never got powercrept
– Ultimate is kinda bad though

Evelyn

Early game – A+ Tier

– Excellent damage reduction
– Ult is a powerful reposition and team damage reduction
– Anti-melee tank (more CC potential against melee)
– Scales well with proper Algorithms

– Passive CC/Heal is effectively useless against ranged

End game – S Tier

– Her damage reduction can come in handy late game when enemies become more threatening

Souchun

Early game – B Tier

– Formerly known as Camellia
– Kit is specialized against Calculation Damage (but still less tanky than Croque vs. that damage type)
– Has some CC

End game – B Tier

– Croque exists

Yanny

Early game – SP Tier

– Lets you pull in & focus-fire 1 enemy backliner instantly
– Useful regardless of rarity
– Extremely durable vs. physical damage if rarity raised

– Doesn’t really have skills that help with tanking

End game – SP Tier

– Can become less useful lategame vs. lots of threats
– Some stages are not friendly to his passive skill

Bonee

Early game – B Tier

– Starts slow, low stats means small Shields

– Starts at 1★ and takes a while to get her running
– Entirely reliant on the strength of her Shields

End game – A+ Tier

– Massive stacking shields once built properly
– Scales well into the late game if you get there
– Pairs well with high healing comps

Zion

Early game – SP Tier

– Damage cut is theoretically good, but it is based on a low % of her stat

End game – B Tier

– Croque exists
